The Grand Traverse is located in an exclusive wing of Cherrywood which was specially designed and renovated to accommodate this leading edge facility. It features 30 beds in spacious and well appointed rooms, and both private and semi-private accommodations are available. Among the amenities that help distinguish the Grand Traverse are:

• A state-of-the-art dedicated Therapy Gym available exclusively for hotel residents
• An enhanced dining menu offering greater variety and selection
• Additional personal services including massage therapy, hair stylists and manicures/pedicures

While continuing to recuperate and rejuvenate at the Grand Traverse, patient recovery and rehabilitation is under the direction of the Rehabilitation Therapy and Medical Team. Typical stays for Medical Hotel patients are two weeks or less, and while residing at the Grand Traverse, patients have access to Cherrywood’s staff of MHRS professionals including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists.

A stay at the Grand Traverse allows patients to continue their recovery outside of the traditional hospital environment. They can increase their strength while working with highly skilled rehabilitation therapy professionals. Ultimately, patients can achieve optimum physical and mental outcomes for a successful return to their permanent living environments.
