Life at Cherrywood is designed to keep you engaged, interested and active. That’s why we offer a range of regular activities – something every day – that you can participate in and enjoy regardless of your interests and abilities. Our Activities Director is a board certified music therapist, and daily activities are offered through our recreation department. You’ll discover quickly that the people who lead and assist these activities bring a special commitment and passion to helping our residents enjoy life to the fullest.
Unable to join group activities due to physical limitations? Then perhaps you’ll enjoy some one-on-one time with a quiet game of cards, book reading, help catching up on correspondence, music therapy, massage therapy or even pet therapy. You can count on the Cherrywood team to continually listen to our residents and offer new activities and events that match your interests and physical abilities.

Ice Cream Socials – Mingle and enjoy other residents, invite family or friends to share a delicious treat or simply enjoy a time honored tradition that appeals to all generations. Card Night – Almost everyone has a favorite card game, so enjoy the challenge of playing popular games with others or introduce your favorite game to new friends and acquaintances. Message Therapy – Enjoy the relaxing and restorative benefits of message therapy during one of our more popular activities. Bingo – Demonstrate your skills and hope for a little luck during one of our most popular activities. Live Music – Our live music series can spark your imagination, soothe your soul and help bring to mind memories from a life well lived. Pet Therapy – Visits from our four-legged friends are among the most popular events at Cherrywood and are sure to lift your spirits and brighten your day. Afternoon Movies – From classics to drama. . .action and adventure to musicals. . . Cherrywood offers a wide range of your favorite titles that you can enjoy with others. Book Reading – Engage your intellect. . .take a journey to a new time or place. . . or just appreciate the pleasures of a well told story during one of our popular book readings. Birthday Parties – Celebrate and recognize you or your neighbors’ own special day with a Cherrywood community celebration.
